I recommend using a laundry bag so they don't get tangled with everything else.

The best option is to fold them and store them in a cool and dark place. You can also store them in breathable cotton bags or storage beans. Just don't let a lot of humidity get to them.

You can get them brightened by soaking them in oxygen bleach solution.
